Council on National Security and Immigration Leaders Welcome CBP's Office of Field Operations Strategy 2026-2030

WASHINGTON –  The Council on National Security and Immigration (CNSI) today issued a statement welcoming the launch of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations Strategy 2026-2030.

"CNSI commends CBP's Office of Field Operations (OFO) for releasing a clear, structured roadmap for the years ahead.

"In the innovative strategy, OFO recognizes what CNSI has long argued: that security and economic vitality are complementary goals, not competing ones. The strategy's focus on modernizing infrastructure at ports of entry will strengthen OFO's ability to mitigate threats at the border and prior to entry into the United States.

"We also welcome the strategy's emphasis on workforce development. OFO officers are on the front lines of our border security every day, and investing in their training, tools, and retention is critical.

"CNSI looks forward to engaging with OFO as the strategy is implemented."
