CNSI Leaders Support Rep. Salazar’s Strong Effort on Immigration Reform

Washington, D.C. – The Council on National Security and Immigration (CNSI) today released the following statement in support of Rep. Salazar and other co-sponsors introduction of the Dignity Act to reform our immigration system.

“We applaud Rep. Salazar and the other co-sponsors of the Dignity Act for introducing a bill that restarts a conversation on immigration reforms in the House of Representatives. Many of the provisions in the Dignity Act align with our principles, such as a strong border enhanced by technology, policies that support a strong economy, as well as a dignified approach to immigrants currently in the U.S. We believe that reform is long overdue, and it will take a full effort by both parties to produce legislation that will be fair and respectful of U.S. citizens and those who wish to come here. We look forward to working with Rep. Salazar and her colleagues on the reforms we need.”
